Windmill at Burnham, Norfolk

One of the iconic windmills of Norfolk, at Burnham. Painted in watercolour, I always marvel at the special light invariably present at or near the North Norfolk Coast.

Fishing for Crabs at Blakeney, Norfolk

The North Norfolk Coast has amazing light and scenery and is an artist’s paradise! This watercolour is almost an exact copy of a family I photographed on Blakeney Quay, fishing with hand lines for crabs. If they recognise themselves, I hope they don’t mind!
The scene reminds me of when I was a similar age to the little lad shown, when my Father would take me fishing off Amble Pier, in Northumberland.
